This trailer created for the London International Animation Festival, focuses on modern teenage society’s unrealistic standards and how social media impacts their behaviours to achieve these standards. The theme portrayed is body dysmorphia that then leads to body positivity.
Throughout this 2 month project, I led a team of two other animators, a background designer and a sound designer. From the initial pitch that I individually presented to the directors of the festival (posteriorly being selected), to its delivery, I made sure this project ran smoothly- creating clear deadlines, distributing roles whilst maintaining the team work spirit, and tracing a cohesive artistic direction were my main priorities.
This project had a wonderful outcome since it gave me the possibly of experimenting with animation, as well as sound and even compositing. This project was my breakthrough in finding a gigantic passion for animation direction.
